A small Follow-up report to one of the most spectacular snow festivals in the vicinity of Reit im Winkl, the already legendary snow festival in Oberwössen.

On 12/29/2010 found a truly impressive snow festival held in Oberwössen. Long before the preparations were in full swing. No wonder, because this was what really put to the legs.

For the 15th time this snow festival was held, always in the last week of December. Since there are only culinary delicacies, live music and delicious hot drinks and what to the eye. In the painstaking work Oberwössen have built igloos, a huge bonfire erected, set up a replica saloon and much more. This was really with snow and ice magic.

If you are in that time near, you should not miss this festival. The next one will be on the way 12/29/2011. The road to Oberwössen is not far, in 15 minutes you reach the venue at the entrance and as impressive as the festival is always set up, you miss it at all.
