Character Building
When our adopted daughter still went to the Public Elementary School, I always asked first by the technical results, which increased in the "Periodic" rating from quarter to quarter. Perhaps it was this satisfaction, which lulled me that I just saw the testimony only from this angle out and ignored the rest. But then I had some time but once dared a look at the "unimportant table next to it, which I had never noticed, but it was just as large at least! "Character Building" was standing over it. Wow - "Thunder Lottie" in my earlier times was called "conduct and cooperation" (with admittedly changing results with me, if I remember correctly). But the school still the same one Character is? Whether the overestimate is not there?
But we'll see on the features of "Character Building":
- honesty - ok, I agree
- courtesy - also very good and important
- employees - clearly in order
- creativity - yes, But since the first doubts about the competence of the teachers make wide at me ...
- consideration - ok, I think it is important
- sportsmanship - I get 'nen laughing fit because other than "Manny the Pacman" no one in the Philippines is a sweat!
- obedience - my laughter freezes immediately! It seems to me to mean it!
- independence - just now I know that you do not want a puppet ... Thank you! I think the autonomy in singing the anthem really great to know especially since the kids do not know what they are singing and get stupid answers to demands from the teachers!

What the hell it has to do with character building, if my child "patriotic" or even "Catholic" is? They believe Protestant or even Muslim children to what they? About a doll? If any of these "highly motivated public Elementaryschool-teachers" has he really judge the authority to decide whether a child is evil or patriotic? The definition of "Character Building" may in fact be rotated very flexible, which is precisely the purpose of the thing.
