The Chiemgau Tourism Association and the German Railways have a special ticket for Chiemgau tourists. Starting from 65 Euro to get from your home town back in the Chiemgau and again.

Do not worry, go with modern trains. :-)

only requirement is the posting of a tourist staying in one of the places in the Chiemgau. The advantages are obvious:
- For all scheduled regular Deutsche Bahn trains including ICE, IC / EC
- Short-term bookings, immediately and always available
- No train and line binding, absolute flexibility
- price for round-trip cost up to 50% than the normal rate
- Transfers / Cancellations and extension of stay possible

And for the children is: children under 14 years stay free when staying with parents / grandparents !
