After a hearty breakfast in Saxonia B & B by Udo and Petra in Jeffreys Bay today was towards Addo Elephant Park, one of the great and famous parks in South Africa. Udo, we have the good tip for the Kragga Kamma Game Park near Port Elizabeth received. That we have then driven directly. It is a small private park, through which one can pass in two to three hours by car. At the entrance for two persons converted nine euro entry are due. There are winding paths through a variety of animals to see. For the first time we've seen here before the intrusion of a buffalo and ostrich lady could we deprive ourselves only by rapidly closing the car window. As the car window was closed, it has not knocked friendly with his beak. I have no idea what was their concern. But after we have not opened, it has moved comfortably. The highlight was tame cheetahs "cheetahs", who allowed themselves to be stroked by us. Like our coat noses at home, they begin to purr when they feel good. Only much louder, of course.
we were very excited today at the B & B, since none of our previous hosts, the Lemon3Lodge knew here in Kirkwood. It was one of the first and few B & B we had booked over the Internet from Germany, due to the low preparation time of only a few days for this trip. But we were not disappointed. The B & B is run by a gay Dutch couple and is very tastefully decorated. One of the most beautiful B & B, we've had here so far. After a delicious dinner, bringing us back a few grams more on the hips, we are now collecting power for tomorrow. Two parks are on the program: the Addo Elephant Park and Schotia prvate guided park next door. The park was Schotia us here in South Africa several times to heart, so that we have pre-booked a combined day tour of Addo and Schotia. We are definitely looking forward to seeing what awaits us there. Today was the day overcast and rainy, but warm. In contrast to the freezing of Germany, which has just reported to us by phone.
After we have become accustomed to the links down very well, but today I am joined at the gas station on the wrong side and was wondering how could get lost in the short time the steering wheel. It is then very close to be seen again. Filling up is otherwise far more relaxing than in Germany. A liter of gasoline costs about 70 cents for it and you also get full service including disk cleaning. Great care, however, the day on the streets. The black running along the street and across the street - including four-lane Streets. Following the fatal road accident a few days ago where we were added, we are now even more careful. Often come in a nowhere man in the street opposite, where you have no idea where these came from, like now or what goals they have, for many miles around is nothing. When we are in Cape Town we really want to take a township tour to us closer to deal with the situation in the townships. Now stands, but once the animal world of tomorrow. So then
Good N8
